Chapter Three

At long last, the young woman got to see the special someone. She wanted to tell him that she thought that they could make a long distance relationship work...she never got to tell him because he said that he just wanted to remain close friends, she was too important to him to screw things up with a relationship...the woman took everything in stride, but woke up the next morning realizing it all must have been a dream, because the phone rang, his voice on the other end saying "good morning my sweetheart, I love you."
Remember my fellow HRs, this isn't all based on actual events. It's up to you to decipher fact and fiction.

"Chapter Three" has not occured yet, but I am so anxious...kinda freaking out b/c I think I am losing my nerve as to what I have to talk to him about...in less than a week Thanksgiving will be here, he'll be here, and I'll be going insane. Be patient, HR's, there's still hope that I'll recover and return to you.

Exciting Anticipation

Thanksgiving is a week from today and we already have SNOW!!!! I am so excited...the first part of the title explians that. I'm kinda nervous though because "special someone" is going to be home, and we're going to talk about stuff. I'm anticipating what he's gonna say, but I'm not completely sure I want to hear it...think of me, my Hopeless Romantics, think good thoughts about the week to come..."chapter three" will be posted after the fateful event.

Chapter Two

Well, now it's time to continue the story which may or may not have been based on actual events.

The woman, after becoming unhappy for a few days, decided to frequent the site where the guy she liked spilled his heart out. She found that the whole story about his "relations" were just the figments of his imagination, and that he just wanted to tell a fun little story, apparently not thinking that his dry imaginative wit can't be conveyed over the net.

I'll let you interpret this as good or bad, but stick around, chapter three is in the works as we speak.

On The Other Hand...

Well kiddies, now it's time for me to tell you all a wonderful little story that may or may not have been based on true events.

There once was a lovely young woman. She was smart and talented and kind of pretty.
One day, she fell head over heels for a guy she had known ever since she could remember.
He, however, lived miles and miles away now, and she had only seen him at the town's festival one weekend.
She called and wrote to him, and he was sociable but not too overly excited to hear from her.
She interpreted his friendliness to be a mutual feeling that she had developed for him.
Then one day, she got word that insinuated that he was "relating" with others. This of course crushed the young woman, and she went to her room that night and cried herself to sleep because of the emotional stress he imparted upon her.

It's apparent that this story does not have a happy ending (as far as we know).
The moral of the story is "never give your heart to someone unless you know they're not going to drop it and step on it."

Sorry to all of you hopeless romantics out there who had hope for me. I'm done trying to make things work for me. I'm giving up. I am resigning from my chair as "President of the Hopeless Romantics Club." Don't expect me to be back to the meetings anytime soon.

The Way I See It, Things Are Looking Up

Hey, after that last depressing post, I talked to that someone on the phone. One of his roommates walked into the room and started harassing him. He said, "hey knock it off, I'm on the phone w/ Lorrell!" That means (1) his roommates know who I am, and (2) he talks about me to his friends! That totally made my day. But anyways, it's been a long time since I've seen him, so I miss him a lot, even though I talk to him on the phone and stuff. It makes a person feel kinda lonely, you know? Well, anyway, things are definitely looking sunny compared to the last time I posted.
